Expert Interview: Bruce Korf, M.D.

Bruce R. Korf, M.D., Ph.D., is Chair, Department of Genetics, University of Alabama at Birmingham and Wayne H. Sarah Crews Finley Chair of Medical Genetics. His expertise in neurofibromatosis comes from years of providing care for patients and their families at Boston's Children's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has conducted primary research on the disorder and addressed groups all over the world. In July 2002, he spoke with us about NF1 and current research into its causes and management.
